Jerry, Anna, Daniel, Kaisa and especially Kurt,
Our thougths and prayers are with you all. Kurt is a strong young man and he has God and the prayers of hundreds (possibly thousands!) of people behind him. Please email or call if you need anything at all. We love you all!

Kurt is in all of our prayers, as is the rest of the family. All things that happen to us can be a blessing and part of our earthly learning. God's love does not protect us from earthly travails, but rather helps us to see our way through them. Our Heavenly Father loves Kurt and is watching over him.

My prayers are with you all! My family and I are praying constantly. I have also let my two groups (His House & Intervarsity) at Ferris State to pray and pass along their prayers. Ferris State as well as hundreds and hundreds of people are praying, praying, praying! Blake family, you are a blessing to me and I am doing nothing but pray for you and Kurt. God works in mysterious ways.

georgia is praying for kurt!!! i work with steve and i consider him a close friend... when he sent the email about kurt, it broke my heart.. i actually work in georgia, so i have forwarded this blog to my church family (first baptist) and asked them to pray for kurt and his family... my life verse is joshua 1:9...be strong and courageous. do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

"wherever you go" - no matter the situation, God is always there with us.

I’m reminded of the passage in John 17:20 where Jesus is telling his disciples that “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.’ We HAVE the faith and are standing on the word that God has given you in Psalm 118. The ‘mountain’ is moving! Love you all, Jaime U.

Blakes-
You have been in my thoughts every hour of every day, as I'm sure of most of ONtonagon and beyond. I'm sure you know there is a lot of love here for you all, and hope.

Kurt is a strong, and special young man... we wish him nothing but the best now and always.

As others have said, if you need anything from us, don't hesitate to call or ask. We're here for you too.

Love to you all...

Jerry, Anna, Daniel, Kaisa and Kurt,
Approximately 100 people gathered tonight at Holy Family and prayed a rosary for Kurt and your family. We began the service with Psalm 118:17-18. The power of prayer is so strong.
Know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of so many.
