Missionaries in Uganda, Mexico and Brazil- all are praying

Jerry, Anna, Kaisa, Daniel and Kurt,
This morning in our AFLC Headquarters staff devotions we read Psalm 86 which is a prayer of David, this was so fitting as I thought of Kurt through the whole reading. Vs. 5 “For Thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in lovingkindness to all who call upon Thee.” Vs. 7 “In the day of my trouble I shall call upon Thee, For Thou wilt answer me.” The last line in vs 17 “Because Thou, O Lord, has helped me and comforted me” Our Lord does not change and has not failed us in the past – He will not forsake you.

Again this morning, as we have every morning this week, we have been praying for Kurt’s healing and for grace and strength for all of the family – the prayer request has gone out on the AFLC prayer alert and to our Missionaries in Uganda, Mexico and Brazil- all are praying.

Last night at the end of the service at my church we gathered together and had a special prayer time for Kurt and all the family. Also, one of hymns we sang - Does Jesus Care? The first two verses spoke so strongly to me that Jesus is Caring for you all and is with you.1. Does Jesus care when my heart is pained too deeply for mirth and song;As the burdens press, and the cares distressAnd the way grows weary and long?O yes, He cares, I know He cares, His heart is touched with my grief; When days are weary, the long nights dreary, I know my Savior cares2. Does Jesus care when my way is dark with a nameless dread and fear?As the daylight fades into deep night shades, Does He care enough to be near?O yes, He cares, I know He cares, His heart is touched with my grief; When days are weary, the long nights dreary, I know my Savior caresI know the Lord is doing something great and powerful through this.

Kurt, keep fighting!! I want to come and talk baseball etc. and give you a Twins update.

Love and Prayers, Wanda

The His House Christian group at Michigan Tech is now going to be praying for Kurt and family also.
He has been in my thoughts often since I heard of the accident.
Never give up hope! :)
