Today's Miracle in another patient

I was with Anna today when the doctor told us they are doing everything they can to help Kurt.

Kurt does remain in a coma and we need a miracle. The doctor said the trouble with miracles is they are rather rare. But they do happen! Just this morning this same doctor witnessed a miracle in another patient. There's a little baby here who had a tumor that was life-threatening and inoperable.

But this morning that tumor was gone! The doctor used the word "miracle" as the only explanation. So miracles to happen. One happenned here this morning.

So while Kurt remains in a coma, there are signs of brain activity. There is still hope.
All we can ask is to continue to pray and trust God will deliver a miracle for Kurt too.

Thank you for all the kind thoughts words and prayers for Kurt. And thank you for passing along this site to keep others informed. And thanks to all of you who have added comments and sent words of encouragement.

We continue to be amazed by the outpouring of support with dozens of e-mails and messages.

May God Bless you all.
Steve Haro

Dear Anna, Jerry, Daniel, Kaisa -- I just wanted to let you all know that tonight at the Heritage House there is the forty hour famine, and they are just focusing on prayer tonight. I just talked to Jon Uotila and he said to tell you all that there are 35 youth tonight plus adults praying tonight especially for Kurt tonight. I just wanted you all to know that.... I love you and the whole AFLBS campus is praying also...
Take care and may God grant you peace and rest during this time,
Elise

If this mornings miracle was any proof then let there be more. Kurt's spirit wherever it is, is still fighting to hang on and stay on this earth. For all the prayers there will be answers, and the whole of Ontonagon and beyond is praying for Kurt and his family. Be strong and be thankful for miracle never cease.

God Bless You Guys!!!
Who knows why? Who knows the reasons for this? Who? GOD!!! That's who....HE knows and thats all we need to know!!
How would this have glorified God if there wasn't any need for Him? If the Dr.'s were all Kurt needed--how does that help us grow in Him? It wouldn't!!
God will be glorified in this--maybe in Kurt's healing; maybe in "community unity"; maybe in people praying all around the globe; maybe...something else---maybe in all of these..but regardless, HE will be glorified and we who claim Jesus as Lord will share in that glory..AMEN!!!
Praying for you guys....

BELIEVE!!!

Dear Jerry, Anna, Daniel and Kaisa,
We count it a privilege to be a part of your 'family of friends', and a blessing to be a part of the prayer team. I am always learning more of what it means to pray without ceasing!
The Lord is preparing a table before you in the presence of your enemies, as you pass through this valley of weeping, and are making it a place of springs.
(Mel's family is here for Eldon's 95th birthday. They will be taking our prayer request to Mount Vernon Ohio and Boise Idaho.)
Trusting Him, with you -
Carol for Mel, Andrew and Jessica

This seems like the best place to post this...First, I want you to know that we will be praying for Kurt here. Second, I wanted to share a little about how powerful we believe prayer is...which I can tell you do as well. I am hoping that these stories will help and uplift you and your family. I was involved in a plane crash almost 10 years ago. It was touch and go and ultimately the dr's weren't sure if I would keep my leg. I had a compound tib/fib fracture...my leg was actually completely shattered. Today I walk without a limp. In all honesty, if you aren't looking at the outside scars you wouldn't know I had ever had an injury. I also wanted to share about a dear family friend that was involved in an accident about 5 years ago. He owns a trucking company with his family and one of his employees had gone into a tank that did not have oxygen inside of it. The employee had past out and our friend, David, went in to help without thinking of his own safety. He was able to save the man but he wasn't as lucky. David spent months in the hospital in a coma due to lack of oxygen. The dr's weren't very optimistic. They in fact were incouraging the family to give up. David defied the odds and is with us today and he and his wife have just celebrated there sons 2nd birthday! I hope this helps some and just know we will continue to keep your Kurt and family in our prayers. God Bless, Jennifer
