Just Keep Praying

Just keep praying. We are. They don't offer us any hope anymore.

We still believe in the giver of life. In Psalm 139 it talks of things that I will paraphrase: "Kurt was knit together in my womb and God can knit him back together again." They assessed Kurt at noon. They told us he was brain dead. They did a test at 3 to see if there is any blood going to the brain stem. There isn't. That means basically that his body is about done. They will reassess Kurt at midnight. If he is still considered brain dead, they will consider him dead. They will no longer offer any further treatment. His body may continue for awhile, but gradually will shut down. Please trust in the God of the Universe to work the miracle we are all believing for.

If you don't know my Jesus, I'd like to introduce you: just admit to Him that you've sinned, ask Him to forgive you, and ask Him to come into your heart to be your Savior and your Lord. Then pray. Please pray for Kurt. Psalm 118:17-18 "I will NOT die, I will proclaim the works of the Lord. He has chastened me but He has NOT given me over to the death." HALLELUJAH.

I'll be praying nonstop until I hear anything else. Then I'll probably keep going.

You're in all of our hearts.

We thank you , O God! We give thanks because you are near. People everywhere tell of your mighty miracles! Psalm 75:1

We gathered at the church tonight and prayed for a miracle.
The Blake family is so full of faith and God.
We will not give up.
Lord listen to my prayer;let my cry for help come to you.
Do not hide from me in my time of trouble. Pay attention to me . When I cry for help, Answer me quickly.
Psalm 102:1-2

Carly just called me after hearing this last posting and I told her to NEVER give up hope! God is still listening. He always hear us no matter how adverse the situation is. I told her to open her bible and to pray, pray, and then pray some more!! All we can do is look to our Heavenly Father and ask Him to have favor on Kurt. I am asking God to surround all of you with a veil of protection and that the angels come down and circle you with their gentle love.
I opened my bible just now and immediately came to;

Psalm 18:28, You, O Lord, keep my lamp burning:my God turns my darkness into light.

It still is possible and Kurt can be a miracle. God can take the darkness from Kurt's mind and turn it into light. He can recreate the blood flow to his brain. Our prayers will not cease and we will continue on this journey with you. This moment may be dark but tomorrow there may be light.
Please everyone, let's flood the gates of heaven with Kurt prayers!!!
My love to you Blake family. My heart is so very close to you right now.
As always,
In Christ,
Paula

Phil. 4:6-7

That will explain how I feel. I truly feel God'll work a miracle here, and as crazy as it sounds I am not worried bout Kurt right now. I know where his heart is and I know that two things will happen:

God will touch him with His hand tonight and Kurt will be a great miracle.

OR

Kurt will get to hang out wit Jesus.

It sounds crazy, but it gives me comfort.

You all and especially Kurt are in my prayers tonight. I'm going to be staying up most of tonight praying for Kurt.
I Love you all so much!!

God is truly something none of us will EVER fathom.. His powers are beyond what any of us will ever know or understand. As with all of His great works and all of His wonders, life is truly the hardest to understand. Why does he bring some of His children home while he leaves other with us? A question we will never be able to answer, but one thing I have come to realize is that God has HIS plan and He knows what is best for all of us.

I pray that a miracle happens for your family and that God's plan is for Kurt to remain here with his family. May the love, prayers and support of your friends and family help you through this most trying and difficult time. Remember God never closes one door without opening another.

God be with you and yours,
Keri Brown

God hears your prayers & so does Kurt. My husband's mom was in a coma from cancer related complications for four weeks. When she came out of it, she was asked if she could hear anything at all while in the coma? Her reply was "I didn't hear anything that was going on in the hospital BUT I DID HEAR EVERY PRAYER THAT WAS PRAYED FOR ME" She recited some of the prayers WORD FOR WORD that went up to the Lord on her behalf. Some of them were prayers said by loved ones or friends who had never stepped foot inside her hospital room. SO... it's important for EVERYONE to remember that Kurt has heard your prayers and knows how much you love and care for him. Jerry, Anna, Dan and Kaisa our prayers are with you,

Karen and Bob

I am Evan Maves Aunt and I believe in miracles, I sure wish you could see how he has recovered from his injury. He fell off a moving car and is doing so great. We are so proud of him. I pray that you have the same miracle we got. I don't know Kurt but got an e-mail from a friend asking to pray and my daughters and myself continue to pray for Kurt. God Bless all of you.
