Redeemer Free Lutheran anticipates applying for a Thrivent Financial for Lutherans matching fund project for Kurt. Initial indications are that up to $5000 would be available to match individual contributions. I've contacted Michelle Wilber, who is working on a pasta dinner, and the party that has donation cans at WUPY and OASD, and Lisa, who is behind a can drive. If funds collected are channeled through Redeemer Free they can be counted toward the matching funds and essentially doubled.
Individuals wanting to contribute directly may also do so.

To the Blake family, we do hope that good news is in order and we will say some prayers for Kurt and for his family, God knows and he will help in any way he can. Take care and God bless all of you, he is such a goodlooking lad and seemed so happy I am sad because he had such a misfortune but will keep praying and hoping for the best, Annabelle Yaunke
